INTERVIEW: Volt Resources to achieve graphite producer status after Ukraine purchase

Australian junior Volt Resources expects to complete its majority takeover of Ukrainian graphite producer Zavalivskiy Graphite soon and plans to resume production at a nameplate capacity of 30,000 tonnes per year in the next 12 months, Volt managing director Trevor Matthews told Fastmarkets.

Graphite and gold explorer and developer Volt Resources expects to have completed its acquisition of 70% of Zavalivskiy Graphite in Ukraine within weeks, Matthews said on Wednesday March 17.

"We expect the legal and commercial due diligence process to be completed in early or mid-April, so completion of the acquisition...
