China’s fluorspar acidspar prices soften with rise in supply

Domestic prices for fluorspar acidspar in China have become softer on increasing supply, with more producers resuming output. Export prices were also under downward pressure, but were holding steady despite thin overseas buying activity.

China’s domestic fluorspar acidspar producers have reduced their offer prices this month to 2,500-2,700 yuan ($381-412) per tonne or even lower, from previous offers of 2,700-2,900 yuan per tonne, because there was sufficient spot supply and low buying appetite among downstream buyers.
