INTERVIEW: MRC 'jumped' at active anode material JV with Superior Graphite

Mineral Commodities (MRC) is setting up a joint venture with Superior Graphite to expedite its downstream graphite plans for a 100% European active anode project using its Norwegian flake, the company has told Fastmarkets.

MRC – the majority owner of the Skaland mine in Norway – is in the process of agreeing a joint venture with US graphite downstream company Superior Graphite for a project in Sweden to produce active anode material for Europe’s developing battery manufacture sector.
