NextSource Materials secures graphite flake offtake agreement with Thyssenkrupp Materials Trading

Canada-based graphite producer NextSource Materials has signed an offtake agreement with Thyssenkrupp Materials Trading for up to 35,000 tonnes per year of its branded SuperFlake for 10 years from its Molo mine in Madagascar, the miner said on Tuesday May 25.

The commercial agreement will provide a minimum shipment of 7,300 tpy of flake graphite, with the first phase of commissioning targeting April 2022 at a production rate of 17,000 tpy.

The offtake agreement will trigger a volume expansion to 35,000 tpy when the project’s phase two expansion is completed...
