Posco buys 15% of emerging graphite miner Black Rock

South Korean industrial conglomerate Posco has completed a 15% equity investment in emerging graphite miner Black Rock Mining in exchange for $7.5 million, Black Rock said on Tuesday June 1.

The management of Black Rock won shareholder approval to place 126.02 million shares to Posco on April 15 as part of the investment deal.

Black Rock has a 100% interest in the Mahenge graphite project in Tanzania.
