INTERVIEW: Walkabout expects Q2 2022 start for graphite flake production

Walkabout Resources is preparing to go into graphite flake production in the second quarter of 2022, and is also looking into a potential downstream expandable graphite project, chief executive officer Andrew Cunningham has told Fastmarkets.

Walkabout Resources, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, is developing the Lindi flake graphite project in south-east Tanzania. The expandable graphite project would also be in the east African country.
