Chinese caustic calcined magnesia prices were steady on Tuesday June 8 due to ongoing tight supply and high production costs, but buyers remained cautious and expected a decline in the market.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for magnesia, calcined, 90-92% MgO, fob China was at $190-210 per tonne on June 8, unchanged since March 30.
