China’s acidspar imports surge by 895% in May; exports climb 3% [CORRECTED]

China’s imports of fluorspar acidspar grew by 895% year on year in May 2021 due to increasing demand from buyers in China attracted by cheaper prices, while exports increased slightly with most demand from Asian buyers.

China continues to increase its dependency on imported fluorspar acidspar, with large volumes entering China in May at competitive prices compared with China’s domestic market.
