Iodine markets stable but upward pressure on prices increases

Both the spot and contract sectors of the iodine market were stable in the pricing session ended Thursday June 24 although the underlying trend was for price rises.

Fastmarkets’ monthly price assessment for iodine, 99.5% min, contract, delivered US/Europe, cif Asia, was flat month on month at $34-37 per kg on June 24, unchanged since June 2020.
