NEWSBREAK: BFA supply at risk as heavy rainfall hits Henan

Supplies of brown fused alumina (BFA) were at increasing risk because of the current torrential rain, which has also caused a second explosion in Dengfeng city, sources said.

Torrential rainfall began in northern China in early July and was forecast to move southward to Henan, Yunnan and Guangdong provinces from the afternoon of Monday July 19 through to the following Wednesday, according to China’s National Meteorological Center.

More than 144,660 residents have been affected by the rains...
