China’s acidspar imports rise by 676% in June; exports down 93%

China’s imports of fluorspar acidspar rose by 676% year-on-year in June 2021 due to the much lower comparison figure from the corresponding month last year, when activity was curbed by the Covid-19 pandemic, while exports slumped by 92.88% due to falling demand from overseas buyers.

China imported 2,031 tonnes of fluorspar (CaF2>97%) in June 2021, up by 676% from a mere 3 tonnes in the corresponding month last year, due to the pandemic.
