Commodities held after Covid-19 case closes Meishan wharf at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in China

Commodities - including nickel, cobalt hydroxide and fluorspar - are being held in China at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port's Meishan wharf after the facility was locked down due to a positive Covid-19 infection at the site, market participants told Fastmarkets on Thursday August 12.
One person was confirmed as infected with Covid-19 on August
11 and the local government has implemented strict controls and
has halted all operations at the wharf.
No vehicles or people are allowed into the area until further
