China’s energy limits will boost integrated synthetic graphite operations, improve outlook for natural graphite

Anode industry participants in China were seeing a trend toward integrated synthetic graphite operations among major anode producers while there were energy restrictions in Inner Mongolia. Meanwhile, consumption of natural graphite was expected to be boosted because of its smaller carbon footprint, sources told Fastmarkets in the week to Friday September 3.
