China’s large flake graphite prices rise on tight supply

Export prices for China’s large flake graphite have increased because of supply tightness and higher demand ahead of the winter suspension in Heilongjiang, the major production hub of flake graphite, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets’ assessment for graphite flake 94% C, +80 mesh (+894),fob China was $1,080 per tonne on Thursday September 9, up by $20 per tonne week on week.
