MRC moves closer to active anode material graphite production

Australia-based Mineral Commodities (MRC) has successfully achieved battery-grade purities of 99.98% and 99.99% C for spherical graphite derived from graphite concentrates sourced from the company’s Skaland and Munglinup projects, it has announced.

Purification tests were successfully conducted by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, on graphite concentrates from MRC’s graphite facilities at Skaland in northern Norway and Munglinup in Western Australia, MRC reported on Monday September 13.
