Bullish cocktail of factors pushes up graphite electrodes prices, GES says

The graphite electrodes market has strengthened since summer and is likely to remain firm in response to three bullish factors working simultaneously, including the European Commission's (EC) anti-dumping probe, according to graphite electrode consultants GES.

Producers of electrodes in China have to respond to increasing transport and raw material costs, competition for graphitization facilities and the EC’s anti-dumping investigation.
