Global crude steel output slips 6.5% in September: Worldsteel

World crude steel production fell by 6.48% month on month in September, again driven lower by declining Chinese output.

The 64 countries that report to the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) produced 144.4 million tonnes last month, the association said in a release on Tuesday October 26.
