Upward momentum on China’s fused magnesia prices slow down due to slightly recovered production

The upward trend in China's fused magnesia prices has slowed in anticipation of increased supplies after a partial resumption of production in Liaoning province.
Power cuts in Liaoning had halted fused magnesia
operations since September 27.
Liaoning's industry and information department announced on
October 30 that alternating periods of electricity use among
fused magnesia enterprises would be allowed, which has allowed
about a third of the fused magnesia kilns to be operational
