Foundry-grade chromite prices slip on uncertain downstream consumption

Foundry-grade chromite prices softened slightly this week. with the industry indicating that inconsistent demand levels from buyers and an uncertain downstream outlook are preventing higher offers from being accepted in the market.

The price for wet bulk product narrowed downward in Fastmarkets' latest assessment on Tuesday November 16 following a period of stability, while that for dried and bagged material was steady after falling the previous week.
