China's refractory materials output up 7.82% in Jan-Sep

China produced 20.03 million tonnes of refractory materials in the first nine months of 2021, up 7.82% year on year, according to data from China’s Association of Refractories.

Dense shaped refractory products accounted for 11.24 million tonnes of the total, an increase of 9.39% year on year. Production of heat insulation refractory materials declined by 3.09% year on year to 480,900 tonnes of the total output, while unshaped refractory products totaled 8.32 million tonnes, up by 6.14% year...
