Vulcan Energy tweaks offtake agreement with Renault

Australia-listed lithium start up Vulcan Energy Resources and car manufacturer Renault signed a binding offtake agreement for lithium, securing lower volumes than initially discussed, according to the companies’ statement on Monday November 22.

Renault will purchase between 26,000 and 32,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide from Vulcan in six years, starting from 2026, the company's announcement on November 22 said.

For these volumes, the pricing will be "on a take-or-pay basis" based on market pay - which means contract prices defined by price...
