China’s fluorspar acidspar exports exceed imports in October

China’s imports of fluorspar acidspar fell by 95.12% year-on-year in October 2021 due to fallow buying activity among domestic buyers and supply constraints from some global producers. But exports surged by 300.79% year-on-year on rising demand from Asian buyers, especially from Japan.

China imported 1,083 tonnes of fluorspar (CaF2>97%) in October 2021, down by 95.12% from 22,178 tonnes in October 2020, according to official Chinese customs data.
