Chinese crude steel output down 22% y-o-y in Nov, year-to-date total down 2.6%

China’s production of crude steel continued to decline in November, falling by more than 20% year on year, according to data released by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Wednesday December 15.

Cumulative crude steel production for the first 11 months of the year was also lower than the same period in 2020, falling by 2.6%.
