Syrah Resources, Tesla ink deal on graphite supply

Australia-based graphite miner Syrah Resources has signed an agreement with Tesla to supply the electric vehicle (EV) producer with natural graphite active anode material from its Vidalia production facility in the United States, the former said on Thursday December 23.

Under the agreement, Syrah will supply Tesla with a majority of the output from its proposed expansion of Vidalia at a fixed price for four years, starting with the first commercial production at the site.
