China’s Dowstone to boost carbon silicon-based anode production

Chinese ceramic ink manufacturer Dowstone Technology is to invest 60 billion yuan ($9.4 billion) to build a plant to produce 150,000 tonnes per year of carbon silicon-based anode material in the city of Lanzhou, in Gansu province, according to a company announcement on Monday April 11.
Besides battery anode materials, the factory will also
produce 5,000 tpy of carbon nanotube powder and 30,000 tpy of
carbon nanotube paste.
