Graphite electrodes prices edge downward on falling Chinese yuan

Prices for graphite electrodes widened downward in the two weeks ended Wednesday May 11 due to the rapid fall in value of the Chinese yuan since April 19, and despite support from rising raw material costs.
Fastmarkets’ fortnightly price assessment for
