SQM’s earnings, iodine prices up in Q1 2022

Chilean lithium and iodine miner Sociedad Quimica y Minera (SQM) reported increased earnings for the first quarter of 2022, driven by higher prices for their production.

Revenues from sales of iodine and derivatives in the three months to March 31 reached $152.4 million, an increase of 59% year on year, SQM said in its earnings report...
