The Metal Bulletin (MB) index price for smelter grade alumina (SGA) could become a basis for the pricing of non-metallurgical supply contracts, participants in the speciality alumina market told IM.
Since the start of the year, MB index prices for SGA (FOB Australia) have increased almost by 10% to $406/tonne from $370/tonne. MB is the sister publication to IM.
