Graphite and magnesia prices fall after the cancellation of export duty, while antimony trioxide price increase on restocking. Despite rising raw material costs, calcined alumina prices remained largely unchanged.

As 2017 gets underway a revision of Chinese tariffs has started to impact the prices of a number of minerals this week, with price drops seen in graphite and magnesia.

In contrast, antimony trioxide spot prices were lifted by restocking before the spring festival holiday in China.
